I have been away for a while on holiday to Cornwall. I was surprised at how immediately the different light and colour qualities became apparent to me; bright, shimmering yet chalky.
We also visited the Eden project which was inspirational as well as being a lovely place to visit. The area on plant dyestuffs was illuminating but I loved the vegetable and herb planting the most. I took loads of photos including lots of exotic plants but I think what will stay with me is how integral plants are to human life. Useful, practical, essential.
