For those of you not afflicted with the curse of Facebook you may not have heard my good news; that I have been accepted as a member of the 62 Group of textile artists. I can't tell you how happy I was to hear the news so I hope you will excuse my self-congratulation, sometimes you just have to share things with those that will appreciate it.
This evening from 5 - 8.30pm we are having an Autumn Warmer gathering in the Butterfly Rooms, it would be lovely if you could join me for a glass of mulled wine and some spicy parkin (homemade of course). I shall certainly be having a little tipple to celebrate, but not too much as I will be demonstrating how to make seasonal decorations and launching my workshops for 2014. The Butterfly Rooms shop also has 15% off tonight too.
Hope to see you there.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to add my congratulations to these others. I have been reading the book Radical Thread, 50 years of the 62 group with an introduction by Lesley Millar - and this is indeed a great group to be part of. Well deserved.
