Walk Slow

Now that the weather is showing signs of becoming more spring-like I think it must be time to start getting out walking more. Take a look at Keri Smith's blog for a lovely quote about about walking from Annie Proulx in Take a Breather. She also has a great little drawing pad to play with.

By an odd coincidence I also came across a festival of walking called Still Walking which runs in Birmingahm from 15th March to 1st April. The organiser ?? describes the festival as including 'a wide range of experiences that in some way involve walking (our current working definition is something like “human-powered movement through a space”). ' There look to be some excellent artist-led walks as well as historical and architectural rambles; I wish I lived closer.

  1. I'm so pleased to have found your blog, Hannah. I'm quite inspired by your work. I was also pleased to see this post as I just posted a resonant topic on my blog http://followingthesilverthread.blogspot.com/2012/03/art-of-being-lost.html

Lovely how when we wander, even on the internet, we find interesting connections. :)
