Moonlit River

Walking home tonight, noticing a eerie blue radiance on the illuminated river, I wanted to linger and capture it.

Now I fully appreciate the beauty of Susan Derges' river Taw photograms.

This evening John briefly mentioned something he had read about Budhist thinking, about being present in the moment. So often I find myself doing one thing but thinking about something else. Food for thought.

  1. I think both are important. It is good to be completely in the moment at times and an experience can be so much richer as a result but I also think that being able to think one thing through whilst doing something else can be really valuable. This is partly what my dissertation is about! You can be reflecting on something whilst removed from it by another task.
