pinhole camera photos

A couple of the results from my first try with a pinhole camera. The first two images were taken at sunset, the last one was taken in bright sunlight.

I was very surprised to achieve such clear results from a camera made from a matchbox. The only images that were unclear were the accidental double exposures or the ones where I got my head in shot. In some ways I had hoped for a less polished result and will consider ways to create less obvious images.

Next I am going to try making a larger pinhole camera from a biscuit tin and experimenting with cyanotype pinhole photography.
