Decision Time

Testing Time has now finished and the serious business of deciding what I will produce for the final assessment is pressing. I took part in four crits in total, all with different points of view expressed. So now I need to unpick all of this and devise a plan.

The main areas to sort out are:

• labels and documentation - are these integral to the work, or do they have a different function?
• do my fabrics appear to be art or fabric samples?
• how can I create a poetic space that speaks to the audience?
• which items should I leave out?
